Pickup from Madurai Airport and check in at your hotel in Madurai. Afternoon and evening sightseeing of the temple city, including the iconic Meenakshi Amman Temple and the Indo-Saracenic Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace. Evening shopping for silks and handicrafts at Puthu Mandapam Market. Overnight stay in Madurai.
Breakfast and checkout from the Madurai hotel, then drive to Rameswaram (approximately 170 km, 3.5 hours) and check in at your hotel. Afternoon sightseeing covers the Ramanathaswamy Temple, a famous Jyotirlinga with twenty-two theerthams, a holy sea bath at Agni Theertham, and the Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple with its floating stones from Ram Setu. Evening free for darshan or a local walk. Overnight stay in Rameswaram.
Optional early morning temple darshan. After breakfast, enjoy full-day sightseeing across the island, including Pamban Bridge, the ruins and beaches of Dhanushkodi at land's end with its Ram Setu viewpoint, and the APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial. Evening at leisure or for local shopping. Overnight stay in Rameswaram.
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Madurai (approximately 3.5 hours). If time permits, a quick stop at Alagar Kovil Temple or Koodal Azhagar Temple can be arranged before you are dropped at Madurai Airport for your onward journey.
